Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS), led by Joann Funaro, Senior Director of Operations, Ithaca Program Director Erica Cotraccia, and Cortland Program Director Cathy Holladay, recently participated in New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports’ (OASAS) Reimagining Recertification Pilot. Through this pilot, OASAS conducted an extensive agency level review of all CARS programming.

As a result of the review, OASAS recognized the Centralus Health affiliate’s commitment to quality with an esteemed 3-year operating certificate for all CARS programming. Joann stated, “We are honored to receive this recognition of our commitment to providing high-quality addiction services in New York State. Further, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Reimagining Recertification Pilot. We are excited to continue to collaborate with OASAS on this initiative and look forward to contributing to the development of better, more effective quality care standards.”
